This is an absolutely disgusting move clearly driven by nothing more than Microsoft’s willingness to throw around massive amounts of money to buy exclusivity. Is it to feed your guys’ egos by going toe-to-toe with Uncharted 4? And what’s with this vision-believing non-sense? Has Sony not always been there for you guys since PS1? It’s looking like you guys chose money over a passionate fanbase and you’ve hurt literally millions of gamers and helped encourage the buyouts of major third-party titles.Īnd don’t rub salt in the wounds by saying you haven’t walked away from PC/PS gamers and “proving” so by saying “here, play the first game again”.

The PS4 and Xbox One are almost identical, with the latter already proven to be weaker, so it’s not like this is a performance-based decision. Hopefully this is a timed exclusive otherwise you guys just really baffled and alienated me - I’m dumbfounded.Īlso, please go into specifics on how MS gets you closer to your vision. I wish I could because I absolutely love and ADORE your reboot, but I just can’t justify picking an Xbox One over food and bills. I simply just don’t have the money to just throw down $400 for ONE game.

I must’ve played the campaign four times (twice on last-gen, twice for the Definitive Edition) and I loved it and I was so impatient for the sequel. I was incredibly passionate about your Tomb Raider reboot and evangelized it to all of my friends, You guys made a hell of a product and I ate it up. While most comments are of the short and rage-filled type, there are some well thought out choice responses, such as this one: Within a span of two hours, comments are over 2000 and counting. Meanwhile we’re going all out to try and make something truly special – the most ambitious Tomb Raider game ever built. Please do send them to us, and we’ll answer to the best of our ability. We know that there are probably many more questions and concerns. We have Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris coming to those platforms this December, and Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition is available on PS4. Those are great systems, with great partners, and amazing communities. This doesn’t mean that we’re walking away from our fans who only play on PlayStation or on PC. We know they will get behind this game more than any support we have had from them in the past – we believe this will be a step to really forging the Tomb Raider brand as one of the biggest in gaming, with the help, belief and backing of a major partner like Microsoft.
